EDUCATION
BIO
Jacquelyne obtained her B.S. in Chemistry in 2012 at Wheaton College (IL), where she was introduced to laboratory research in synthetic organic chemistry under the advisement of Prof. Mark Niemczyk. She then moved to New York University and studied the diffusion-controlled reactivity of allylmagnesium halides with carbonyl compounds under the direction of Prof. Keith Woerpel, completing her Ph.D. in 2018. For postdoctoral studies, she joined the groups of Profs. Matthew Sigman (University of Utah) and Eric Jacobsen (Harvard University) as a Ruth L. Kirschstein NIH postdoctoral fellow and worked on collaborative research applying computational and data science tools to investigate noncovalently driven asymmetric catalysis.
She joined the Chemistry Department at Dartmouth in Fall 2021 and is excited to mentor students in both experimental and computational research! When not thinking about chemistry, Jacquelyne likes to hike, bike, tell bad puns, and go in search of the best bubble tea.
